HELPING CHILDREN VISUALIZE THEIR
POTENTIAL BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
WHY WOWW?

Window on a Wider World is dedicated to enriching the education of Texas Panhandle students through arts, science and cultural experiences.
WOWW was created to maintain a dynamic arts and cultural education program to meet the needs of children in rural schools throughout the Texas Panhandle. WOWW currently facilitates 49 school campuses located in 37 school districts with our 150 partner programs and original WOWW programming. As an advocate for learning through the arts, WOWW’s vision is to magnify the impact of every child’s learning experience in and out of the classroom. By facilitating the process for teachers to integrate arts and cultural programming into their curriculum, WOWW is enriching the education of our students through experiences that support the core curriculum of math, science, language arts and social studies.
WHY WE DO IT

WOWW is an impact nonprofit that closes the opportunity gap by equipping all youth in marginalized communities with the skills and tools they need to imagine and create their best lives in a wider world.
When teachers fully integrate arts, science and cultural programming into the core curriculum, the following results are achieved:
Greater community collaboration
Happier, healthier atmospheres in schools
Improved test scores
Increased attendance
Greater student success
Exploration and Creative Expression
Social and Cultural Engagement
WOWW is providing an integral service that supports the teachers of the Panhandle as well as providing high-impact enhanced learning for students PreK – 12. WOWW bridges
the gap between arts and core educational curriculum set by the state of TEXAS.
Students are inspired by and emotionally connect to arts, science, and culture.
