Katy Reid

Katy is an Amarillo transplant who lived in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Memphis, TN, before moving to Texas. She holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Memphis and is completing an M.Ed. at West Texas A&M. Katy joined Ascension Academy in 2013 after a lengthy career as the Controller at McVean Trading & Investments, Sr. Vice president at Integrity Technologies, and Strategic Business Development Lead at Corporate Systems, with significant experience in corporate accounting, financial compliance, risk management, marketing and product development, strategic business development, customer relationship management, and strategic planning.

Katy has previously served as a board member and treasurer for the AMOA Alliance Board, board member and board president of St. Mary's Catholic School, board member of Amarillo Area CASA, and is currently the treasurer for the Randall County Republican Party, board member and treasurer for Window on a Wider World, and a member of the City of Amarillo Library Advisory Board. She has served on several other non-profit boards over the years and is actively involved with community groups dedicated to children and education. Katy and her husband, Tim enjoy the arts, traveling, skiing, volunteer work, being grandparents, and spending time with family and friends.
